This chip contains a series of small analog circuits for test purposes. The high-speed CMOS differential amplifiers in this chip have gain-bandwidth products of 50 MHz. In addition main parts for a digitally programmable frequency synthesizer realized by a phase-locked-loop are included in this chip: a low-pass filter, a voltage controlled oscillator and a phase detector.
