Sunchip is an RS-232 port monitor, that is able to control up to four outputs. The outputs consists of a 4-byte command that consists of a three byte identification and 1-byte command. The chip is able to filter commands addressed to itself from the stream.
The main application of this chip is to be part of a system that will be able to automatically power-off unused hardware.
