This chip implements a digital communication interface that uses the human body as the communication medium. The system QPSK modulation with 64 kHz carrier frequency and up to 64 kHz symbol rate. The ASIC includes a digital transmitter unit upsampling and QPSK modulation, and a receiver unit with matched filter, timing recovery unit and decoder.
