This chip is a digital noise generator intended for audio testing of telecommunication equipment, head sets and amplifiers.
The random number generation is based on Gold codes with a period of 2^25-1 samples. This corresponds to 85s at 192kHz. The random number generator produces 24-bit samples, which are then delivered to the amplitude statistics block, applying either gaussian, triangular or uniform distribution.
