Celeste (Calibrated bluEtooth Log- likElihood and Signal power for Transmission Estimator) is an ASIC which enbables positioning applications through Bluetooth Low Energy communication protocol.
The chip implements a Bluetooth receiver for Bluetooth Low Energy Protocol capable of receiving and storing log-likelihood ratios for Bluetooth messages of up to 17'040 bits. Permitted input from an RF subsystem are IQ complex symbols, 20 bit signed; 10 bit complex value, 10 bit real value. The message preamble and preamble length is configurable via an APB interface. Provides an estimation of received signal power, accessible via APB interface.
