The EAWAG collects liquid levels in drainage pipes to determine the water levels. It was shown that the system is not able to determine the flowrate with this setup. Therefore, the data is collected from two neighbouring points and correlated. In practice a correlation over 512 measurement points is desirable to obtain usable results. The chip can perform this correlation computation and is able to store the measurement results in an external RAM.
