Filippo Borlenghi received both the BSc (2004) and the MSc (2006) degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Parma (Italy). After working for one year with the Digital IC Design group at University of Parma, he studied at ALaRI Institute, Lugano (Switzerland), where he received a Master of Advanced Studies in Embedded Systems Design in 2008. Since end 2008 he is working as research assistant at the Institute for Integrated Signal Processing Systems (ISS), RWTH Aachen University (Germany) where he is currently pursuing his PhD degree in the area of hardware architectures for iterative multi-antenna receivers.
