2MS/s 10A full-scale Hall current sensing system-on-chip (SoC) with embedded compressive sensing (CS) encoder. The SoC is based on two octagon-shaped 8-contact 4-phase spinning-current Hall sensors, two 4-phase discrete-time analog front-ends with reduced input loading, two 9-bit 2MS/s SAR ADCs, and a multi-mode digital CS encoder. It achieves a bandwidth of 1MHz, a signal-dependent data compression of up to 41x, an overall consumption of 99.6mW.
