This chip is part of the spice chips (MoCoMRI2 aka Salt, MoCoMRI3 aka Pepper, Saffron, Espelette) designed to be used in MRI applications. Turmeric being considered as the poor man's saffron, this chip is also the substitute of the Saffron chip. It should fix some issues in the digital PLL and improve the performances of the DCO.
